In joining our Amaco Antarctic Cruise departing in January 2020, you will board a vessel with ‘Class Comfort 1 Certification’. This means you can sail in the world’s most extreme region and still enjoy the intimate and refined luxury atmosphere and environment and receive some of the best and most attentive service available at sea.

The hikes, excursions and zodiac outings organised during our expedition cruise provide ample opportunity for you to discover the hidden treasures of the region. With guidance from the experienced naturalists, lecturers and guides, you will be able to approach a rich and unfamiliar wildlife and flora. On board and on land, the specialists will provide a cultural, historical or geological dimension to the cruise and will take great pleasure in answering all of your questions.

Our vessel – Le Soleal, is small enough to provide a truly intimate cruise experience yet large enough to provide all the modern amenities that you would expect of a luxury 5-star hotel. Her size however means she is ideally suited for visiting Antarctica and provides guests with access to places that larger ships can’t reach.

First launched in 2013, Le Soleal has 6 decks that include Le Restaurant Gastronomique, the elegant main dining room serving French and international cuisine and the casual Le Grill Restaurant. She also has three lounges offering evening entertainment, bars and access to the open decks.

Le Théâtre plays host to the naturalist lectures and briefings as well as regular entertainment. The ship is also equipped with fitness and beauty facilities, a medical clinic and multiple observation areas. Elevators serve all passenger decks.
